Dubai Weather
Dubai weather - Sunny escape from the British winter
Dubai weather is characterised by low rainfall, high temperatures and lots of sunshine. However, Dubai weather is sometimes difficult to predict with freak storms or winds and erratic rainfall. January and February are the coolest months, with the average maximum temperatures around 24°, dropping to a comfortable 14° at night. While winter weather in Dubai sees rain, it is normally in short storms. Highs can still reach 30º and sea temperatures are still gorgeously warm. Winter sun holidays in Dubai average eight hours sun a day. Dubai beach holidays at any time of year will receive plenty of warm sunshine.
Dubai weather - Spring and Autumn
March to May sees temperatures steadily rising. April weather in Dubai is often excellent, with maximum temperatures around 33°C, not too humid, and a little more breeze. May is best included as a summer month, with few storms, low humidity but sometimes uncomfortable for those who feel the heat. Again, extremely hot days may arrive in an unpredictable way and take you by surprise. For many visitors the autumn months of October and November are the best time to visit Dubai: long hours of sunshine and highs in the low 30’s.
Dubai weather - Summer heat
Everyone likes warm sea water but you might find August and September sea temperatures of over 30º a little odd! Dubai desert safaris get more heat but less humidity, and it is the humidity that can make July, August and September uncomfortable. However, Dubai beach temperatures are often tempered a little by gentle coastal breezes. If travelling for any length in the Dubai desert, check forecasts for freak sandstorms.
