General Reviews Things To Do Weather

Disney World weather - Sunny family fun destination
The weather in Disney World is typical of the sunny, subtropical climate enjoyed throughout Florida: wonderful warm sunshine that will delight children and adults alike. Holidays in Walt Disney World Resort enjoys glorious sunshine all year round. Even the Orlando “rainy season” from June to September sees an average 7 hours a day of sunshine! Weatherwise, perhaps the best time to visit Disney World and Orlando Universal World Resort is between November and May, when average temperatures in Disney World are comfortable and humidity is lower. Disney World winter weather is absolutely ideal for getting the most from the world-famous theme parks and non-stop entertainment: long sunny days, comfortable temperatures and beautiful clear nights for spectacular fireworks. In the unlikely event of rain there are sports centres, spas, amazing theme restaurants, family-orientated entertainment on Pleasure Island and fun-filled nightlife in Downtown Disney. Aside from the famous attractions, the weather at Disney World is perfect for enjoying the resort’s parks, lakes, hotel pools and year-round golf. Sunny Disney World weather makes excursions to the Gulf Coast and the Space Coast very tempting at any time of year.

Disney World weather - Superb outdoor climate
Average Disney World summer temperatures are a little higher than Miami, but those staying in the resort can take advantage of longer opening hours when the weather is cooler and the crowds smaller. In any case, summer weather in Disney World is hardly a problem with such amazing water parks and hotel pools on your doorstep. Rain often falls in short, heavy, afternoon downpours, with the sun returning in the evening. If visiting Walt Disney World Resort in the summer, optimise your time by saving the major indoor attractions for the afternoon rainstorm.

Disney World weather - Gorgeous spring and autumn sunshine
Many Disney World aficionados would say the best time to visit Disney World Orlando is the spring, when temperatures and humidity are still comfortable, and there are fewer visitors. Disney World boasts 8 hours of sunshine a day in March, April and May, and temperatures in the mid-to-high 20ºs. After the hot summer, Disney World temperatures and rainfall drop significantly in October. Both October and November are unfashionable months for travel but enjoy excellent weather and minimum crowds.
