When to go to Dalyan is largely a question of what you wish to get from your Turkey holiday. Most UK visitors consider Dalyan weather in July and August close to beach holiday perfection. Summer rainfall is very unusual and arrives in short bursts.

The Dalyan beach  season begins as soon as April and runs through to early autumn. Dalyan sunshine hours can compete with resorts in Egypt and the Caribbean. Spring and autumn is the time to combine beach relaxation with walking  trails and nature attractions. Even Dalyan winter weather offers an average 5 hours a day of warm sunshine.

Most Dalyan visitors are here for hot summer sunshine but if the beach is not your main priority you should consider spring and late summer. If you hope to combine beaches with sightseeing you could try April or May. Many Turkey weather guides recommend spring as the best time to go to Dalyan. You will still enjoy long hours of warm sunshine but temperatures in the 20’s are better suited for nature attractions, ancient sites and activity holiday adventure. Spring is a wonderful time to explore the Dalyan Delta and beach resorts in the Dalaman region. Easter time offers more reliable sunshine than Easter holidays in Spain. Quiet months like May and October see incredibly cheap holidays in Dalyan hotels and villas.
