Home to famous mud baths, endangered turtles and a stunning and unspoilt natural beauty, the small town of Dalyan is ideal for those looking for a relaxing break, but with a huge choice of things to do and close to all the major tourist attractions in the region. From scenic river cruises, quiet sun worshipping, nature excursions and trips to ancient tombs, to thrilling jeep safaris, exhilarating tours in the mountain and visits to the invigorating mud baths, Dalyan is a great choice for those seeking a traditional and not overly commercial Turkish resort, with a rich array of natural landscapes and an authentic charm and character.

"Dalyan is a hidden gem! We had been there for a day trip when we stayed at Olu Deniz, but it is a real delight to stay in. Our accommodation was gorgeous, and we found some lovely places for dinner every night - the village is unspoilt but with plenty of choice. The Lycian rock tombs are quite spectacular, and our favourite trips were the river boat rides and a trip to the mud baths."

"A complete change from the other Turkish resort we have visited (Marmaris), which was very touristy, Dalyan was refreshing and very relaxing. We took two boat trips, went to the mud baths, and really loved Turtle Beach (the river ride there is so pretty - take your camera). All in all, a very nice holiday for a really good price - we'd go back. Just don't go if you want action and nightlife - it's not that kind of resort"
