Dalyan Holidays
A family holiday or activity break in Dalyan on the south west corner of Turkey's Mediterranean coast will feature sun, sea, river, lake and lush mountainous scenery. Dalyan is an unspoilt village resort in an area known as the Dalaman region, and is unique in the rich variety of landscapes and pastimes it offers holiday visitors. The village of Dalyan itself stands on a beautiful river, in a surprisingly green valley leading up to spectacular mountains. This is further complemented by a freshwater lake, and of course the sparkling turquoise waters of the Mediterranean Sea. Although the region is exceptionally dry and hot during the summer, the area is nourished by underwater springs, guaranteeing lush vegetation, and supporting Dalyan's remarkable wildlife. Dalyan is served by the region's international airport at Dalaman, 20 minutes away.
