White-water rafting

Trekking
The Lycian Way takes in 311 miles of breathtaking scenery between Fethiye and Antalya, and on a Dalaman holiday you can witness some of Turkey’s most beautiful sights. Trekking in Dalaman is a great way to see the country firsthand and should not be missed.

Mudbaths
The mudbaths of Dalyan are a top tourist attraction.  Holidaymakers come from Marmaris and Fethiye to indulge in the sulpher-rich baths. The baths are said to give relief from some rheumatic and skin conditions. Some have said that a mudbath in Dalyan has even left them looking younger.


Paragliding
If the idea of jumping from a cliff with another person holding onto you sounds appealing then Dalaman is the place for you. Paragliding in Dalaman has become very popular and Olu deniz is now the destination for the International Air games held each October.

Festivals
For three days at the end of June, Kas in home to the Kas Lycia Festival each year.  International and local folk-dancing troupes arrive in the area for one of the Dalaman's largest and most colourful festivals.

Hydrofoil to Rhodes
Take a day trip to Rhodes by hydrofoil from Marmaris. The trip takes only 55 minutes and you are then free to explore Rhodes for the day. Visas are not required for a day trip and the excursion makes an excellent addition to a Dalaman holiday.

Scuba diving
Marmaris has several excellent diving schools where you can take short learner courses. Diving in the Dalaman area is very popular and the Marmaris Diving Centre, located on a boat beside the tourist office, is one of the most popular places to learn.
