Our Review of Cyprus...
Few Mediterranean islands offer such variety, so much sunshine and such a warm welcome. The obvious attraction is the gorgeous coastline, with superb sunbathing and swimming on exceptional sandy beaches and in small isolated coves. Cyprus holidays satisfy a very broad range of our customers, from walkers and nature lovers to watersports fans and young clubbers. Cyprus offers a relaxing, friendly atmosphere in charming resorts like Paphos, Pissouri and Pernera, and fun-packed lively resorts like Nissi Beach and Protaras. But it is what you can find away from the beach that makes Cyprus truly special, with characterful old-fashioned bars and family restaurants in Larnaca and Nikosia, gorgeous verdant farmland, and outstanding walking and characterful villages in the Troodos Mountains.

“It really is true that the Cypriots love children! Thanks for recommending Coral Bay, which was just the right mix for a family, not too quiet but not too big either. What an amazing beach! Again just right for kids. They want to try diving next year! It’s really worth a trip to Polis and Latchi. The excursion to Nikosia and Northern Cyprus was interesting too. What a shame it’s still divided.”

“I wholeheartedly recommend Cyprus for anyone who likes walking. The Troodos Mountains were wonderfully quiet in early June and the weather was superb for walking. Make sure you visit the monasteries. Incredible! We stayed in Omodhos and it’s absolutely charming. The great thing is it’s really easy to nip down to the beach too.”

“Super beach at Protaras and lovely water for children. You can try a different restaurant every night and there are long coast walks. Lively but not too much. Water World is a great laugh for grown-ups too! Don’t knock Ayia Napa. There’s lots for families and at least it’s up front about what it’s about. It looks great fun if you are young enough to enjoy it!”
