Our Review of Croatia...
Croatia offers a wonderfully picturesque and varied coastline with dozens of superb beach resorts and famously scenic islands like Krk, Losinj, Brac and Primosten. Beautiful beaches, sheltered bays, the sparkling Adriatic and an exceptionally sunny, refreshing climate are perfect for relaxed swimming and sunbathing, and idyllic snorkelling, diving, sailing and watersports. Secluded unspoilt coves make Croatia holidays particularly popular with naturists. Pleasantly animated nightlife centres on relaxed promenades, harbours, romantic pavement cafes and charming tavernas. The coastline is complimented by gorgeous interior landscapes and beautiful hill villages like Ruzici. The stunning cities of Dubrovnik and Split are essential excursions. The quintessential Croatia holiday is based around charming, neat harbours like Orebic, Rovinj, Postira, Rabac, Supetar, Brela and Cavtat. Croatia is blessed with atmospheric, medieval fortress towns like Umag, Labin, Korcula, Stari Grad, hauntingly beautiful Trogir and romantic Sveti Stefan. Restful resorts like Plat, Slano and Tucepi offer excellent family holidays, as do Makarska Riviera resorts like Podgora, Baska Voda and Gradac. Beach resorts like Milna and Mlini are ideal for those looking for quiet Croatia holidays. The more youthful resorts of Porec, Pula and Bol offer enjoyable nightlife, live music and an interesting club scene.
Customer Reviews of Croatia...
“The weather in Croatia is absolutely perfect, sunny but not too hot. The coast is gorgeous especially all the tiny islands. we had a beautiful time in Cavtat in May.”
Mrs V Carter, Somerset, UK
“I would recommend Croatia for the natural unspoilt nature of the coast and the charm of the harbour resorts. Good food and wine and a very warm easygoing atmosphere. A nice buzz to the resorts but relaxed and romantic too.”
Mr M Law, West Midlands, UK
“Croatia has some wonderful medieval towns which have been very well looked after and beautiful for evening strolls. Trogir is simply amazing and try to find time to explore Split and Dubrovnik.”
Ms Y Scott, Cardiff UK
“Croatia is the most beautiful place with it's stunning scenery. Dubrovnic is everything you expect from the descriptions, it would be a shame if you were to not visit whislt in Croatia. We had a two & half hour drive to visit it but the scenery along the way helped with the journey, the long drive is well worth it. Because the area is so green you would expect some rain, we had a few cloudy days in June but it was still very warm. We stayed in Tucepi which is a lovely place with a small harbour, shops & restaurants, we stayed for a week. There wasn't enough to do for two. If I was to go again I would hire a car to take in different places. On reading back this seems a little on the negative side. This wasn't meant to be the case - Croatia is absolutely beautiful & I would love to visit again some day.”
