Costa Calma Weather – All year round sunshine
The weather in Costa Calma is exceptionally sunny and hot all year round. Summer temperatures in Costa Calma head towards the 30C mark from June until September and with over 300 sunny days per year holiday makers are guaranteed a warm reception. Winter temperatures are also hot at 22C during December making Costa Calma the ideal festive sunshine destination. Rainfall in Costa Calma is nonexistent from May through September with only the autumn and winter months receiving short lived rainfall. Sunshine levels are high and Costa Calma receives around nine hours of sunshine per day during the summer months.

Due to their close proximity to the African coastline the Canary Islands benefit from an abundance of sunshine and the climate in Costa Calma is no different. The weather is stable throughout much of the year and the temperature will not usually dip below 20C. From May until November the temperature in Costa Calma heads over the 25C mark hitting its peak 30C temperature during July and August. The coastal breezes and exceptional beaches make the Costa Calma a surfer’s paradise. There is very little difference between water and air temperatures and the Atlantic Ocean is perfect for swimming, snorkelling and diving.
Costa Calma Weather – Ideal winter sunshine destination
A holiday in Costa Calma during the spring, autumn, and winter months will be ideal for those who prefer their holidays to be warm and sunny. Temperatures during the Easter and October holidays stay at a comfortable 25C with around seven hours of sunshine per day. Festive breaks in Costa Calma are very popular and provide the opportunity to soak in some 21C sunshine on Christmas Day. There is a chance of rainfall during the autumn and winter months but any rain that does occur will be short-lived and will not dampen the warm sunshine.
