The entire island is a scenic delight, with charming coastal towns, atmospheric mountain villages, spectacular roads, dramatic ravines, scenic vineyards, picturesque coves, stunning peninsulas and magnificent beaches. Corsica attracts serious beach connoisseurs and lovers of fine regional food and wine. Corsica excels in romantic waterfront dining, atmospheric pavement cafes and cosy country inns. Walking and trekking aficionados rate Corsica’s famous waymarked trails among the most exciting and rewarding in Europe. There really is something for everyone: swish glamour, medieval fortress towns, charming fishing villages, family beach resorts and mountain hideaways. For Corsican charm and character combined with stylish, buzzing nightlife, try I’lle Rousse or Bonifacio with its gorgeously picturesque Haute Ville. Medieval Algajola and Porto are ideal for quieter Corsica family beach holidays. Piana and San Martino di Lota brilliantly combine mountains and beaches, while the tiny hamlet of Bocca dell'Oro offers tranquillity. Zonza is ideal for serious walkers and Corse takes you to the spiritual heart of the stunning Corsican mountains.

“Bocca dell'Oro was just what we were looking for. Gorgeous place and really handy for Porto Vecchio which is lovely at night. You must see Palombaggia beach and get out to explore inland. Our kids loved pottering around in the little coves and the water on the main beaches was idyllic. Highly recommended.”
