Corfu Things to do

Water sports
Corfus' beaches offer plenty of water sports - choose from jet skis, pedalos and banana rides, to kayaking, water skiing, windsurfing, parasailing, paragliding, and even kite surfing. Scuba diving is also available, for both beginners and certified divers, with the coastline offering interesting marine life and artefacts.

Sailing and boat trips
Charter a yacht and cruise the Ionian Sea around the island. The calm blue waters are perfect for a leisurely sailing trip, whether you choose to visit inaccessible beaches or venture to neighbouring islands, such as Paxos or Antipaxos. Take one of the many organised boat trips, from tours on a glass-bottomed boat, to an all day excursion along the coast to spot some dolphins, whilst enjoying a beach bbq.

Horse riding
The lush green island of Corfu is the ideal spot for horse riding or pony trekking. From short treks along the coastline, to scenic rides up in the mountainous regions, the island is full of tracks and trails, and the many schools and stables offer plenty of day trips and excursions.

Walking and hiking
Discover the real Corfu by following the many paths that cross the island, and take in the natural beauty of the island. See the rich and fertile landscapes, full of exotic flora and marvel at the spectacular views.

Mountain biking
From family bike rides, to energetic off-roading, an excellent way to see Corfu is by mountain bike. Venture off the beaten track and travel along the country roads and donkey trails to discover the islands' charm, from the mountains and vineyards to hidden villages and unspoilt beaches.  

Golfing
Enjoy a game or two at the islands' 18-hole championship golf course at Kerkyra, situated just outside Corfu Town. Set against the stunning scenery of the Ropa Valley, the beautiful backdrop and fantastic weather makes a round of golf in Corfu a wonderful experience.  

Other sports and activities
Tennis, mini-golf, volleyball, water-polo and quad bike safaris can all be enjoyed throughout the island, and Corfu Town is home to the famous cricket games which can be seen during the summer.

Aqualand Waterpark
Definitely a fun day out for the whole family, and a great way to cool off! One of Europes' largest water parks, Aqualand is a major attraction in the centre of the island offers a huge array of  slides, pools and water rides, for kids of all ages and adults alike.
