Colva Weather – Consistently warm temperatures
The weather in Colva is typical of that experienced throughout the rest of Goa. There are generally no extremes in temperature, yet consistent temperatures ensure whenever you take your holiday it is likely to be warm, pleasant and sunny. Average temperatures vary between 25C - 30C whilst the average daily hours of sunshine are nine to ten hours in summer and three to five hours during monsoon. The dry season lasts six to eight months a year, followed by the annual period of rainfall, which occurs over the remaining four months.

Weather in Colva - Monsoon season
A holiday in Goa will allow you to experience a fantastic climate throughout most of the year, with the only exception occurring during the monsoon season which lasts from June to September. During the monsoon, approximately 250cm - 300cm of rain can be expected, although being on the coast, Colva does receive considerably less rainfall than other inland areas such as the Western Ghats. Despite the rain, Colva still enjoys warm temperatures, so if you don’t mind getting wet, it can still be a good time for a Goa holiday.

Colva Weather – Popular in the winter months
Almost immediately after the monsoon season comes to an end, the holiday resort of Colva welcomes blue skies and an altogether more enjoyable climate. Winter holidays in Colva are very popular and during the four to five months starting from October through to February, the climate is almost perfect with cloudless blue skies and warm weather. By the middle of March, the humidity will start to increase once again as the monsoon season approaches once more.
