Colakli Weather

Away from it all, 300 days of sunshine, quiet and relaxed - the resort of Colakli is an idyllic resort with the kind of luxury that allows you to melt into its atmosphere. The weather here is similar to that of the Antalya region in general and summer temperatures will rarely dip below 27C whilst you enjoy your cheap holiday in Turkey. Although an hour's drive from the larger city of Antalya, you will feel far from the madding crowds in Colakli and there is plenty of space on the beach here to enable you to make the most of the summer sun and the warm seas. Sea temperatures hover around 20C and are ideal for those with young families or couples who want to bathe in safe and gentle seas.

 

The beaches in Colakli sit at the base of the rugged hills that define the Antalya region and you are only a short drive away from some of the impressive sights of Antalya like Cappadocia. The weather in the summer is perfect for getting on to the water and trying out some classic water sports; sailing, surfing, canoeing. Each is an ideal way to enjoy the hot and clear summer whilst luxuriating in the balmy evenings. Spring and autumn are both great times of the year to visit with visitor numbers lower and temperatures much cooler; making it ideal for those looking for even more isolation. Temperatures at these times of year are closer to 20C and will still enable you to relax on the beach, but you might need that jumper in the evening.

 

There are many reasons to visit Colakli and the weather is certainly one. The rain is segregated to Dec and Jan so that you have the rest of the year to enjoy the region and make the most of your time away. Quiet and unassuming, isolated and relaxed; there can be few more tranquil places to enjoy a relaxing holiday in Turkey than Colakli.
