Colakli Things To Do
Beaches
The south west coast of Turkey has been known as the Turkish Riviera for a long time; however it is not as developed as France and some parts of Europe. The beaches are unspoilt and there are numerous blue flag beaches to pick from, allowing you to spend whole days just exploring each of the glorious golden sways of sand or hidden coves. The sun shines almost all year round, with lows of 24 centigrade in the winter and over 35 centigrade in the summer, and with over 300 days of sun to enjoy each and every year.
Water Sports
Turkey has embraced tourism, and therefore has a huge array of water sports to take advantage of. Jet skiing remains popular and the warm, clear waters are perfect for diving, however wind surfing is also incredibly popular and possible for both beginners and the more advanced. Yachting remains popular in Colakli and you can easily charter a boat and skipper to take you out for the day or book as part of a tour on yachting holidays here.
Aqua Parks
In Colakli, there are two main parks but more dotted around the nearby countryside, although further away the Dedeman park outside of Belek is the biggest in the Middle East and always goes down well with the kids on family holidays. The water parks here are of a good quality and will guarantee a fun day out for the whole family.
Food & Drink
The Turkish love to eat and drink and if you do too, then this is a holiday destination not to miss. From fresh fish to Turkish coffee and Raki, the local produce is excellent and easily available in the numerous bars, cafes and restaurants. If you are looking for a touch of home comfort whilst on a cheap holiday here, then there are a couple of Chinese restaurants which are worth a visit.
