Our Review of the Caribbean...
There are plenty of enticing holiday destinations offering winter sun holidays and superb beaches, but nowhere can recreate the unique atmosphere of the Caribbean. The classic Caribbean holiday cocktail includes idyllic soft white beaches, gorgeously calm warm seas and a wonderful year-round tropical sunny climate. The Caribbean offers fantastic diving holidays, watersports, ecotourism and wildlife. Sample superb food, legendary music and characterful nightlife. Classy luxury hotels and fantastic all-inclusive holidays are the norm. Friendly people, romantic locations and stylish accommodation make the Caribbean a favoured choice for honeymoons. Within the Caribbean there is tremendous variety in terms of style and culture, from Aruba in the Dutch Antilles to English-speaking islands like the Bahamas, Barbados, Antigua, Grenada, Tobago and St Kitts. Try fabulously beautiful Grand Cayman or charming St Lucia. The Dominican Republic and Margarita Island have a real Latin American feel. The islands of Jamaica and Cuba are truly unique in terms of character and culture. And Mexico is proof you don’t need to be on an island to enjoy the true magic of the Caribbean.

“We’ve been lucky enough to return 3 times to the Caribbean since our honeymoon in the Dominican Republic, which is perfect if you want the whole all-inclusive lazy beach thing and a lot of fun. Then we discovered Antigua, which we’d recommend for laid back charm, people and fabulous beaches. But since then we’ve totally fallen in love with the Bahamas, especially Green Turtle Cay! Lovely atmosphere, still unspoilt and super places to stay.”

“Just back from a brilliant two weeks in Negril. Some people might want all the bright lights of places like Montego Bay but for me Negril offers a much more laid-back experience of Jamaica. Our hotel here was beautiful. Loads of character. Me and my boyfriend learnt to dive. The beaches and the beach party scene were like something from a film! Recommend going all-inclusive but make sure you try some of the local stalls for food too.”
