Capileira Weather

With a year round average temperature of 22C and high summer temperatures of 30C, the weather in Capileira is guaranteed to be excellent. This is an all year round sunshine destination, and this area of the Costa del Sol receives over 330 days of sun each year. As you would expect from the Mediterranean the summers are long and hot and the winters are short and mild. Rainfall is unheard of during the summer and will stick to the cooler winter months. The sea temperatures during the summer are only a few degrees less than the air temperatures making it perfect for an abundance of water sports that are popular and only a short ride from Capileira.

 

From April until October the temperature in Capileira will not usually dip below 24C and the sun will be out for around 10 to 12 hours per day. Evening temperatures are also warm and light clothing will be all that is needed. From June until September the temperature will stay around the 30C mark and don’t be surprised if it does creep over this. For those looking for cooler temperatures try a holiday in the spring and summer months when the temperature fluctuates between 20C and 24C. The cooler temperatures are perfect for hiking and cycling around the spectacular forests and mountains of Capileira. Visits to the nearby beaches are a must if you want to soak in the warm sunshine no matter what time of year you visit.

 

Weather in Capileira – Mild winter and warm spring
The village of Capileira was made for relaxing, and holidays during the winter months are popular. From November to February you can expect temperatures to stay warm at around 18C with the sun shining down for around six hours per day. By spring the weather in Capileira heads over the 20C mark and Easter holidays spent relaxing in the sun are a great way to beat the British chill.
