Beaches
Cape Point beaches are typical of the sun drenched coastline of Gambia. Long, white sand beaches lapped by the warm Atlantic Ocean and fringed with swaying palm trees. Beaches here are quiet and unspoilt by commercialism and are the perfect place to stretch out and relax with a cool drink during the day or in the evening.
Sight Seeing
For holiday makers who wish to explore the Gambia there are number of sightseeing attractions from Cape Point. The old town of Baku is less than a mile away and provides a taste of the traditional Gambian way of life. The colourful local market is well worth a visit as are the botanical gardens. Kachikaly Crocodile Pool is the place to see the majestic crocs, or take a boat trip up the Gambian River and witness the amazing scenery and wildlife.

Dining out in Cape Point will usually take the form of the excellent hotel restaurant buffets. There are some restaurants within the resort serving traditional Gambian food and there is also a Chinese restaurant. For a wider selection of eating options including bars and cafes head to nearby Baku.
Nightlife
Nightlife in Cape Point is a relaxed and laid back affair. There are some bars and beachside shacks and a few nightclubs and a casino for those who fancy gambling late into the night. Hotels will usually have entertainment including music and dancing and the bars will always be open to residents and non residents.
Sports Activities
There is no shortage of sports activities in Cape Point. From wind-surfing and deep sea fishing to tennis, squash, and badminton. There is a spectacular 18-hole golf course at the nearby resort of Fajara, and of course scuba-diving is one of the most popular sports in the area.
