Calpe has its own very popular swathe of golden beach that shelves into the warm waters of the Mediterranean Sea. Calpe’s coastline is dotted with many fine beaches, and water sports such as windsurfing, sailing, and scuba diving are popular in this area. Calpe’s beaches and shallow waters are perfectly safe for families with small children.
Excursions
Excursions and day trips from Calpe can include the bright lights and vibrant nightlife of nearby Benidorm, which is a short 20 minute journey away. A trip on the famous Lemon Train will provide spectacular views along the Costa Blanca coastline from Alicante to Denia. Holiday makers can also stop off along the way and enjoy other resorts such as Javea and Moraira. Those planning a day trip can take the two hour ferry from Denia to Ibiza or simply cruise down the coastline on one of the many sailboats trips available.

Denia’s 18-hole course was designed by world class golfer Jose Maria Olazabal while the spectacular course at Oliva is one of the finest in the Costa Blanca area.

Standing 332 metres high and classed as nature resort this is one sightseeing attraction that is hard to miss. The climb to the top will provide panoramic views, and on a clear day it is possible to see Ibiza.
