Calis is on the south west coast of Turkey on a flat strip of coastal land with mountains away in the distance. An increasingly popular holiday destination, Calis is just two miles from the larger holiday resort of Fethiye, Calis is 40 miles to the east of Dalaman airport.

Holidays In Calis - A safe beach location ideal for families
Many of the large hotels in Calis are situated along the coast with the smaller and family run properties back from the seafront with further hotels and apartments set among patches of agriculture. The beach is a long arc of sand and shingle complete with sun loungers and extends round the sheltered bay from Calis to Fethiye. Calis offers a safe beach location and is therefore ideal for families with children. It is also a laid back, easily accessible, resort so is great for quiet-loving couples.

Along the beachfront, Calis offers restaurants with views across the bay. Nearby Fethiye offers even grater variety. Behind the beach is a pedestrianised promenade that is lit up in the evenings. Nightlife in Calis is low-key but it does offer a selection of bars and cafes many on the beachfront and with bay views. There are couple of discos but a more active nightlife can be had in nearby Fethiye town.
