Calas de Majorca Weather

If you love long hot sunny days with clear blue skies then Calas de Majorca will be hard to beat. This relaxing resort combines great Majorcan beaches with large amounts of daily sunshine. The six, long hot summer months will rarely be interrupted by rain and the sun will be shining down for around 11 hours per day. Temperatures during the summer months of July and August will head over the 30C mark and can frequently reach higher than that. If you are a sun and beach lover then the weather in Calas de Majorca will be perfect no matter what time of the year you visit.

 

Head to one of Calas de Majorca’s beaches or coves from May onwards and you can be guaranteed spectacular Mediterranean sunshine. From May until mid October the temperature will rarely fall below the 23C mark. July and August are the peak months with high 30C plus temperatures. Temperatures can sometimes exceed 35C so sun protection is a definite requirement. The sea temperatures during the summer are warm and perfect for swimming, snorkelling or any of the numerous water sports that are popular in this area. Evening temperatures will also be warm and balmy and light clothing will be all that is required during the peak summer months.

 

Holiday makers who prefer slightly cooler temperatures should consider an Easter or October family holiday in Calas de Majorca. There may be a slight chance of rainfall at this time of the year but it will usually be short lived. Temperatures during the early spring and late autumn months will hover just under the 20C mark; comfortable enough to explore the natural sights of the surrounding area. At 15C, the temperatures during the winter months are perfect for picking up a golden tan and beating the British winter chill.
