Calas Weather

Calas lies on the east coast of Majorca, and enjoys a typically Mediterranean climate, with hot summers and mild winters. With three beaches to choose from, the resort is ideal for a quiet beach-based holiday, and the average summer highs of 29C mean ideal conditions for sunbathing and water sports.

 

Spring sees pleasant highs of 17C - 21C and around 7 - 9 hours of sun each day on a holiday in Calas, with the warm days well-suited to sight-seeing and outdoor activities such as mountain biking and hiking. There is around 50mm of rain during April, with May seeing much drier weather. June sees the beginning of the summer season, with temperatures up to 25C, and 10 hours of daily sunshine. Water temperatures at this time reach 21C, rising to 24C during the peak season months, with plenty of water sports and boat trips available. July and August see highs of 29C, with moderate humidity levels, and the resort receives virtually no rainfall during this time. Night-time temperatures remain around 17C - 20C in the summer, meaning great conditions for evening walks and leisurely al-fresco dinners.      

 

Autumn in Calas sees continued warm weather, with highs of 23C and plenty of sunshine - at least 5 - 6 hours each day. There is increased rainfall during this time, with October being the rainiest month receiving 98mm, and Calas seeing around 50mm - 70mm during the winter and spring seasons. Temperatures are still mild, with the coldest months of January and February dropping down to 14C.
