Cala’n Forcat is situated around a deep rocky inlet, characteristic of the dramatic coastline of the area, and the resort has many platforms from which to swim, dive and snorkel. Nearby Cala’n Blanes has an attractive small sandy beach, in a charming sheltered cove backed by palm trees, and facilities on offer here include a wide range of watersports and a dive centre. Other sandy beaches can be found at Calas Piques and Calas Brut, and a trip along the coastline will reveal further hidden beaches. Most visitors to Cala’n Forcat take the self-catering option, as the resort is home to many apartment complexes and private villas, however there are some larger hotels with childrens’ facilities in the resort. Los Delfines offers a good range of shops to browse around, with plenty of stores selling souvenirs, pottery and leather goods.

Cala’n Forcat is home to a good selection of bars and restaurants, with most of the action found in Los Delfines, where the streets come to life after dark with English pubs, karaoke bars and nightclubs. The restaurants of Cala’n Forcat offer a wide range of food, from traditional English fare, burgers and pizzas, to local fish specialities. Children will enjoy the Aquapark at Cala’n Forcat, and the resort also offers play areas, mini-golf and trampolines. Cuitadella lies just 10 minutes away, and a trip to the former capital, with its’ historic old quarter, delicious Spanish restaurants and fantastic shopping, is a must.
