Cala Millor Things To Do

Keeping Active
Cala Millor has plenty of sporting activities to keep visitors busy. Favourable winds and warm water temperatures are ideal for learning to sail, windsurf, snorkel and scuba dive. Holidays in Cala Millor could also include tennis and wonderfully picturesque golf at Sa Coma. Horse riding and cycling are ideal ways to break from the beach holiday scene and explore the beautiful scenery in the interior of Majorca. Children will enjoy exciting karting and refreshing waterparks like Aquacity.

Walks
Spring and early autumn weather is idyllic for leisurely country strolls, excellent coast walks and longer hikes in gorges and mountains. Majorca is a paradise for walkers of all ages and abilities. A popular walk is the stroll up to the Punta Amer nature reserve on the headland, where a 17th century watchtower affords fine views of Cala Millor Bay. You can also easily walk and cycle to the charming small port of Cala Bona and the pleasant resorts of Sa Coma and S’Illot.

Nature & Wildlife
Observe marine life and see the beautiful coastline at its best on a glass-bottom boat trip. Marineland in Portals Nous offers dolphin shows, flamingos, penguins, an aquarium and performing parrots. The Sa Coma safari park has a good collection of larger animals. The extensive Puigpunyent nature reserve features beautiful flora and magnificent waterfalls.

Excursions & Attractions
Top Cala Millor excursions include the Drach Caves, San Salvador Monastery and the pretty fishing village of Cala Figures. Mondragó National Park, the gorgeous town of Porto Christo, and the historic old town of Palma are ideal for a longer day out. Don’t miss the wonderful Gothic cathedral in Palma. For enjoyable shopping try local street markets like the Friday market in the pretty village of Son Servera. Lace and leather are good buys. Those not wishing to walk or cycle can take a mini train to the neighbouring Majorca beach holiday favourites of Cala Bona, Sa Coma & S’Illot. Majorca tours typically take in picturesque coastal highlights like Cala D’Or, Cala Figuera and Cala Santanyi.
