Cala Llonga Weather

Ibiza holidays will take you to one of the sunniest islands in the Mediterranean and the weather in Cala Llonga will not let you down no matter when you travel there. The temperatures on Cala Llonga can reach over 31C during the hottest summer months and the winters are mild with average temperature of 16C. Levels of sunshine are also high, and from May to September you can expect around 11 hours per day. Rainfall in Cala Llonga is moderate during the year and there will be practically no rain at all during the summer months.

 

If you are a lover of high summer temperatures with sea temperatures to match then Cala Llonga will be ideal. There is very little difference between the air and sea temperatures and you can expect warm 25C waters during the summer months and around 13C temperatures during the winter. Swimming here is possible as late as November and sometimes beyond. From May until October the temperatures in Ibiza will not usually dip below 25C, and the months from June until August will see the temperature heading over the 30C mark. Cool afternoon breezes will take the intensity from the summer sun and make relaxing on the beach and all day pleasure. 

 

Many people prefer the spring and autumn months in Cala Llonga due to the cooler temperatures, although at around 20C it will still be warm. This is the perfect time of year to explore the surrounding area and visit nearby Ibiza Town. Cala Llonga makes a great sunshine destination during the off peak season. The weather is still warm and with around six hours of sunshine per day you can still be guaranteed a tan even during the winter months.
