Cala Blanca Things To Do
Beach
The beach at Cala Blanca is a laid back, relaxed stretch of white sand set in a little cove. The shallow waters are perfect for swimming, and the nearby shops and bars are easily accessible for daytime refreshments. There is also another busy beach at nearby Cala n Bosch that has a wide variety of water sports facilities.
Sporting Activities
There is a wealth of sporting activities available in and around Cala Blanca. Try your hand at tennis, golf, bowling, go-kart riding, and horse riding. The beaches themselves have numerous water sports facilities including wind-surfing and water-skiing.
Restaurants
Although the resorts in Menorca are smaller than other Spanish towns you will find a good range of restaurants in Cala Blanca. As you would expect from an island the seafood is second to none but there are also Chinese, Indian and English restaurants as well as tapas bars to choose from.
Nightlife
The nightlife in Cala Blanca is a more relaxed affair but there is a good selection of pubs, clubs and live music bars. For an all night dancing experience head to nearby Mahon or Ciutdella; you will be able to find something for everyone in either of these colourful towns including live jazz performed by local musicians.
Sightseeing
Day trips should not be missed and there are plenty of sightseeing excursions available from Cala Blanca. Take a trip to Mahon which boasts the second largest harbour in the world. The town of Ciutadella is wonderfully romantic with its winding streets, 14th century cathedral and quaint harbour cafes. Mount Toro is the highest point in Menorca and offers some spectacular photographic opportunities.
Diving
Scuba diving in Cala Blanca is popular and there is a dive centre located in Cala Blanca with lessons and excursions available for beginners and more experienced divers.
