Beach
The main attraction of this local fishing village, Cala Bona, is the sandy beach area and the colourful working harbour. Picturesque and quiet, there are several sheltered beaches for sunbathing and swimming, and a host of hidden rocky coves to discover. The livelier resort of Cala Millor is a 20-minute walk or 5-minute drive away, and features a busier scene with a 3km stretch of beach.
 
Water Sports
Along the coast at Cala Millor, there are facilities for windsurfing, sailing and diving. The harbour at Cala Bona offers coastal trips to Porto Cristo and Cala Ratjada, and there are scenic glass-bottomed boat rides that run up and down the shoreline. 
 
Sports
Swimming and tennis can be enjoyed at the resort, with go-carting, crazy golf and bike rental available at Cala Millor.
 
Golf
Visitors to Cala Bona can choose from four courses nearby, including the 18-hole Capdepera, Canyamel and Pula Golf Clubs, and the 9-hole Son Severa Golf Club. 
 
Horse Riding
A local riding school provides lessons and a range of treks for all level of rider, which take in the pine-covered countryside and coastal paths of the area.
 
Safari Park
The Safari Park at Sa Coma can be reached by tourist train, and features exotic animals such as elephants, apes and ostriches, as well as a child-friendly petting zoo.   
 
Day Trips
Interesting day trips include the Caves of Drach at Porto Cristo, the lively market at San Servera, and Manacor, which offers tours of its pearl factories and the chance to buy locally made pearls and jewellery. A car is recommended to fully explore the island, and tour the livelier towns and resorts such as Palma, Alcudia and Pollensa.      
 
Entertainment
The resort is family-orientated and relaxed, with a low-key entertainment scene which centres around the bars and hotels. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from, many lining the harbour, featuring everything from traditional Spanish tapas and paella, to international favourites. Cala Millor offers plenty of lively nightlife, and organised events such as karaoke nights and pub quizzes.
