Holidays in Cala Bona
Cala Bona, situated on the east coast of Majorca, offers a quiet relaxing base, with plenty of traditional Spanish charm. A small fishing village, Cala Bona, meaning “good bay”, has a sandy beach, lots of bars, cafes and restaurants and a busy harbour at its’ centre. The area, together with its’ lively neighbour, Cala Millor, (meaning “better bay”), has a 50 year history and has grown into one of the most important tourist areas on the east coast. For more action, many holiday-makers can visit Cala Millor for the evening, as the two resorts are linked by promenade, a 20 minute walk or 5 minute taxi ride.

Holidays in Cala Bona – Quiet and relaxed
Cala Bona is home to several small sandy beaches, dotted with rocky coves, with stretches of golden sand. Most of the beaches are sheltered, and the waters of the area are clean. Cala Millor has a longer stretch of beach, spanning 3km, with a wide selection of water-sports available. Many hotels are on the beach, and there is a good choice of accommodation in Cala Bona. The working harbour is the heart of the Cala Bona, and visitors can sit and watch the fishermen out on the boats, supplying the catch of the day for the local restaurants. The town has narrow streets, perfect for an evening stroll and plenty of bars and cafes to choose from.

Holidays to Cala Bona, Majorca – Peaceful nightlife
Entertainment in the small village of Cala Bona is mainly based around the hotels in the resort, with most visitors settling for a drink at one of the bars and then dinner at one of the many fantastic restaurants in the town. There is a wide selection of cuisine on offer, and plenty of restaurants offering local fish and seafood. For those in search of more vibrant nightlife, Cala Millor is home to some more lively bars and clubs, with plenty of happy hours and late-night partying. The shops in Cala Bona offer souvenirs, beach supplies and local goods, and the local market in San Servera takes place on Fridays.
