The promenade links the beach area to the original fishing harbour, and behind this lies the narrow winding streets of the town centre, with plenty of shops and cafes to linger in. Boat trips around the bay are offered from the marina and there are plenty of bars and restaurants lining the harbour. San Baulo is also home to a protected nature reserve beside the beach, where tortoises, rabbits, hares and hedgehogs can be seen.

C’an Picafort is only 9km from the old town of Alcudia, with its’ historic city walls and warren of narrow streets, and the beach resort, which offers a water-park, lively fishing port and traditional Friday market. The bird sanctuary of S’Albufera Park is close by and a popular attraction in the area, and the famous Caves of Drach are within reach.
