Bugibba Weather

Bugibba sits on Malta's northern coastline, and experiences a warm Mediterranean climate, with hot summers and mild winters. The average annual temperature is 20C, and during the summer months, holiday-makers are treated to highs of 30C and up to 12 hours of sunshine each day - ideal conditions for a relaxing holiday by the sea. 

 

Spring sees warm weather in Bugibba, with highs of 17C - 19C, and around 7 - 8 hours of daily sunshine. These days are ideal for sightseeing, touring the island, and enjoying sports and activities before the weather gets too hot, and with just 20mm - 40mm of rainfall each month, conditions are generally dry. May sees average highs of 23C, and 10 hours of sun, whilst June heats up to 27C, and experiences an increase in humidity. The waters of the Mediterranean hover around 21C in June, and warm up to 24C - 26C in the height of the summer, when the daytime temperature soars to 30C, and there is 12 hours of daily sunshine. The resort is busy during this time, with visitors flocking to the resort to soak up the summer sunshine, and enjoy activities along the coastline. There's more humidity during July and August, with sea breezes helping to temper the heat, and the resort seeing virtually no rain at all during this peak season - less than 7mm per month.

 

Autumn remains warm and sunny in Bugibba, with highs of 24C - 28C, and 7 - 9 hours of sunshine. October sees an increase in rainfall, with an average of 86mm during the month, and November and December continuing to see wet weather, receiving 70mm - 99mm respectively. Temperatures remain mild, with December dropping to 17C, and the coldest months of January and February seeing lows of 15C, yet still experiencing 5 hours of sunshine.
