Budva Weather – A top sunshine destination
Holidays in Budva have been growing rapidly in popularity thanks to the fantastic beaches and excellent climate. Temperatures in Budva can head over the 30C mark during the peak summer months and Budva benefits from around 2300 hours of sunshine per year. The weather in Budva is typically Mediterranean boasting long, hot summers and short, mild winters. Sunshine levels during the summer months are high and 12 hours per day is the norm during the months of July and August. Rainfall will not disturb any summer holiday in Budva and tends to be short-lived during the winter months.
 
Weather in Budva – Beautiful beaches and hot sunshine
Budva is blessed with wide sandy beaches, and with a sunbathing season that last six months this is a beach lover’s paradise. From May until the end of September the temperature in Budva will not dip below the 20C mark. June through September is the hottest period with the temperature regularly hitting the 30C mark and over. The sun will be shining down on the beaches of Budva and nearby Petrovac and Radovici for 12 hours per day. The Maestral will drift in during the summer months to cool down the heat slightly. At 25C, the Adriatic Sea will be the perfect temperature for swimming, snorkelling and diving during the six hot summer months.
 
Budva Weather – Warm spring and autumn months
Those who prefer cooler temperatures may enjoy a holiday in Budva during the spring and autumn. The temperatures in April and October will be just below the 20C mark and the sun will be shining down for around six hours per day. This is the perfect time of the year to relax in the warm sun or explore the Budva coast and countryside. Winter temperatures are also mild at around 10C to 12C although there will be a chance of rain at this time of the year.
