Beaches
Budva beaches are true national treasures and the Budva Riviera is well known for its beautiful stretch of beaches. Nearby Becici Beach is one of the largest and most beautiful beaches of the southern Adriatic. The Budva coastline is home to numerous coves and bays with excellent swimming and sunbathing areas.
 
Restaurants
There are a number of excellent restaurants to choose from in Budva. Traditional restaurants and taverns serve local specialities such as fresh grilled fish in garlic. International dishes can be found at one of the many Budva hotel restaurants.
 
Nightlife
Nightlife in Budva includes bars, clubs and open air discos. Budva is considered the nightlife centre of the Montenegrin Riviera and can be very busy in the evenings with both holiday makers and locals. The evenings are lively, and live music bars beside the waterfront are an excellent place to relax and sample some of the local wines.
 
Excursions
Wandering around the old walled town of Budva itself is a pleasure but don’t forget to take in a few sightseeing excursions. Boat trips to the beautiful Skadar Lake or to the medieval Mediterranean town of Kotor are a must. Bus trips to the ancient town or Dubrovnik are also available and there are even trips to the nearby country of Albania, isolated from the world for over 50 years.
 
Sports
Sports in Budva can include white water rafting on the River Tara or a mountain safari taking in the breathtaking Moraca canyon. The safari includes primeval forests, mountain lakes and a trip to the top of Mount Bjelasica.
 
Water Sports
There is a number of exciting water sports available in Budva. Learn to scuba diving at one of the many diving schools or try your hand at para-gliding at Budva Bay. Water-skiing is another popular activity that is guaranteed to get the adrenalin flowing.
