Weather on Brac Brac, the third largest of the Dalmatian Islands in the Adriatic Sea, enjoys a typically Mediterranean climate, with long hot summers and short mild winters. The island sees an average of 134 clear days every year, with plenty of sunshine and an average summer temperature of 24C.

Winds are not that strong during the summer, but the peak season does see certain winds blowing over the island, including the afternoon 'maestral' coming across the sea from the northwest and the 'burin', from the northeast, which both create refreshing breezes. Springtime in Brac sees highs of between 14C and 18C, with autumn temperatures remaining pleasant, dropping from 21C in September to 17C in October. Sea temperatures are very warm during the season, with August seeing a water temperature of around 25C, and swimming possible well into September with temperatures remaining at 21C.
Weather in Brac - Short winters, mild but wet Brac sees relatively mild winters, with January and February reaching lows of 9C and 10C respectively, and the sun still shining for about 4-5 hours each month. The coldest period is also the wettest, with most rain falling between December and February, and the island receiving around 1,100mm of precipitation each year. WInter winds are much stronger and feature the 'sirocco', a warm wind from the south and the colder 'bora', which blows from the north.
