Our review of Brac...
The picturesque and historic island of Brac offers a charming base for a holiday in Croatia, situated in the string of islands off the Dalmation Coast. Easily accessible from the city of Split on the mainland, this compact island is best known for the most beautiful beach in the Adriatic, and the most famous in Croatia - Zlatni rat - a regular feature on many tourist brochures. Brac boasts plenty for the visitor to enjoy, from a choice of relaxing beaches, a wide range of water sports and wealth of sightseeing opportunities, to a dramatic coastline and a rugged interior to explore.
