Our Review of Bodrum...
Bodrum holidays are an ideal introduction to Turkey. The resort is attractive, cosmopolitan and offers a good range of accommodation. The scenic peninsula setting allows easy access to enjoyable neighbouring family beach resorts like Gumbet and Bitez, as well as quieter coves and beaches. Bodrum weather guarantees endless summer sunshine and beautiful starlit nights for romantic pavement cafes and atmospheric waterfront restaurants. Warm seas are ideal for relaxed swimming, watersports and diving. While Bodrum is the liveliest resort on the Bodrum peninsula, a simple short drive will reveal the traditional quiet side of life in Turkey.

“There is so much variety around Bodrum. The resort itself is a lot of fun but make sure you get out and about. The dolmus buses are good if you don’t have a car. A trip to a country village is a must to see the more traditional way of life. The jeep safaris are a good way of getting an idea of the countryside, but the best was the yacht cruise...lovely.”

“Bodrum weather is just about perfect. Ashamed to say we only did one excursion (to Ephesus) but to be honest, why leave the beaches? Our two teenagers got really into windsurfing and it’s lively at night. People were rating the diving classes too.  Local people say it’s even nicer here in the spring so we’re thinking of coming back next year!”

“We had a great autumn break in Bodrum. The peninsula location makes it easy to see quite a lot of different things in one holiday. Gorgeous weather in late October. Nice and quiet but there was still plenty to see and do.  We had some delicious mezes in a little village in the countryside in an amazing old-fashioned tavern. A really atmospheric place.
