Bitez is a beautiful beach resort just 8 km west of the larger Turkish town of Bodrum. Its location on the Bodrum Peninsula, famed for gorgeous sandy beaches, pretty coves and sparkling turquoise seas, is idyllic, making Bitez popular for family beach holidays, romantic breaks and activity holidays. Kos is a half hour boat ride away from Bitez, for example. A local minibus service (known as the dolmus) can speed you off to the bustling town of Bodrum in just 10 minutes. Here you’ll find historical sites, museums, great shopping, a fascinating marina and the best nightlife in the region.
