Binibeca, situated on the south east coast of Menorca, is an area renowned for its’ peace and tranquility and a popular choice for a quiet family holiday. Just 15 minutes from the airport, Binibeca is primarily a residential area, with numerous white washed private villas dotting the coastline, and in recent years the region has undergone a fair amount of controlled development, now incorporating a 3 km stretch of coastline from Cala Torret to Binibeca Vell.

Holidays in Binibeca – Great beach for families
The main beach at Binibeca is perfect for families, with white sands and shallow warm waters, sunbeds and pedalos and a convenient beach bar. The resort of Binibeca has numerous sheltered coves along the coastline for those wanting even more peace and quiet. Next to the main beach is Cala Torret, a pedestrianised development, with apartments and a small centre housing shops and a few restaurants, and further along is Binibeca Nou, a more exclusive area home to a collection of private villas. On the western end of the resort is Binibeca Vell, developed in the style of an authentic fishing village, with charming cobbled streets and a pretty harbour. Access between the small villages of Binibeca is provided by local road train, conveniently running along the coastline.

Binibeca offers a tranquil base for lazy days on the beach, perfect for couples and families. Most visitors are self-catering and the village is home to many well-stocked supermarkets, as well as traditional restaurants for long, relaxed meals. Binibeca Vell has many places to eat, including a Chinese restaurant, and Cala Torret is home to various restaurants overlooking the sea. Diving is available in Binibeca, and nearby stables in Sant Climent provide horse-riding trips. The capital Mahon is a must, with fabulous shopping, great seafood restaurants and the picturesque harbour.
