Bijilo is a secluded, quiet resort, just to the south of the Gambia’s busier beach areas, and five miles west of the capital Banjul. November through to April is the hottest period in the Gambia, with temperatures reaching approximately 32 C. For slightly cooler conditions, May to October are pleasantly warm.
