Beruwela Weather – Tropical hot and sunny climate
Beruwela boasts a typically tropical climate with year round high temperatures and dry and wet seasons. The temperature in Beruwela will rarely dip below 30C throughout the year and evening temperatures will hover around the 20C mark. Rainfall in Beruwela will usually occur between April and November but in most cases will appear as short heavy downpours with the rain drying up very quickly. December through March is considered the best time to visit but there is no off season in Beruwela. Although temperatures are high all year round there will be breezes that drift in to ensure the heat is pleasant and not excessive.

Beruwela is located on the southwest coast of Sri Lanka, famous for its spectacular beaches and weather to match. The short downpours will bring the temperature down slightly but will not usually last long enough to disturb a holiday. The Indian Ocean temperatures are warm enough all year round for swimming and diving and are only a few degrees less than the air temperatures.
