Benitses Weather – Long hot summers, short mild winters

The climate in Benitses is a typically Mediterranean combination of high temperatures and an abundance of sunshine. Located on Corfu’s sun drenched east coast, the resort has long been a favourite with UK holiday makers. Temperatures during the peak summer months will hit 30C and over with sunshine levels peaking at 12 hours per day. Humidity levels are relatively low throughout the year, making the heat less intense in Benitses compared to the southern Greek islands. The climate will be ideal for holiday makers who prefer hot rather than sweltering weather.

Weather in Benitses – Six months of hot summer sunshine

The summer arrives early in Benitses and the month of May will see temperatures rising over the 20C mark. By June the sea will be warm enough to swim in and the sea temperature will rapidly approach 26C. July and August are the high season months when the temperature will usually head over the 30C mark, sometimes exceeding this to as much as 35C. Rainfall is rare during the summer months and evening temperatures will be a warm 17C. The beaches here will be the place to relax during the day and soak in the rejuvenating Greek sunshine.

Benitses Weather – Beautiful spring and autumn weather

September and October holidays are also popular, and temperatures will hover between 23C and 28C with around eight hours of hot sunshine per day. Winters in Benitses are short and mild, and although rainfall will appear in the form of short lived showers there will still be plenty of sunshine. Easter family holidays will provide visitors with warm temperatures of 20C with seven hours of sunshine per day. Benitses will prove to be the ideal sunshine holiday option for those who desire beautiful scenery and a glorious climate.
