Becici Weather

Becini certainly manages to make full use of its beach and warm weather facilities with a phenomenal six month summer season! The climate enjoyed in this area is very typically Mediterranean with long, hot summers and short, mild winters. Although the beach is bound to be a strong draw to the region, Becici manages to be a fabulous all year round holiday destination as it makes the ideal base to explore some of the stunning countryside and historical sites of Montenegro during the cooler winter months.

 

Pack plenty of suntan lotion, as you will be enjoying temperatures of over 30C during July and August and these are only slightly lower for June and September. Don’t expect much respite from the sun as you can assume it will be shining for up to 12 hours per day during the summer months. The only interruption of this splendid weather is when the Maestral blows occasionally bringing the temperature down just very slightly. Summers in Becici are all about heat, even the Adriatic Sea temperature is a wonderful 25C.

 

The spring and autumn months of April and October respectively, see perfectly pleasant temperatures of approximately 20C and a lovely six hours of sunlight. Surely Becici would be a tempting Easter holiday to get your spring off to a flying start. The winter temperatures are cooler, at 10C – 12C and more likelihood of rain, you would want to plan to be spending some of your time in museums as well as exploring the regions beautiful historical towns, villages and landscapes. Without a doubt, event the winter months offer some light relief from a cold, wet British January.
