Beach
The spectacular beach at Belle Rivage is made up of fine white sand, and boasts a calm blue lagoon protected by coral reefs. A number of thatched umbrellas and beds provide relaxation and shade for guests, and the hotel offers drinks on the beach throughout the day.    
 
Water Sports
The resort offers windsurfing, kayaking, pedalos, snorkelling, water skiing, beach volleyball and glass-bottomed boat rides free of charge. The large swimming pool, one of the largest in Mauritius, overlooks the lagoon and includes a children's pool. 
 
Scuba Diving
Mauritius is a haven for scuba divers, and P.A.D.I. instructors are on hand at Beau Rivage to take enthusiasts of all levels out to local dive sites. Belle Mare, with its coral reef and lagoon, is a popular spot and is usually home to an array of marine life such as barracudas, kingfish and shark.
 
Boat Trips
Big game fishing trips are available for guests, as are catamaran cruises, organised dolphin-watching trips and island tours. Day trips out to the tiny island of Ile auz Cerfs, just off the mainland, are popular.
 
Sports
Sports on offer on a holiday in Beau Rivage include mini-golf, tennis, table-tennis, bocci ball, and darts. Mountain bikes rental, pool, and electronic games are available for a fee. There is also a gym and fitness centre, with yoga and tai-chi classes offered, whilst golfers can choose from two courses nearby.
 
Spa
The spa is open daily and offers a range of European treatments, including facials, massages, body wraps and hydrotherapy services. Facilities include a plunge pool, jacuzzi, sauna, hamman, and 5 massage rooms.  
 
Dining & Entertainment
The cuisine in Mauritius is a melting-pot of Indian, Chinese and French fare, with local and international dishes featuring in the resorts' buffet and fine dining a la carte restaurants. The hotel puts on nightly entertainment, featuring cabaret shows and local bands, and there are three lounges and bars in which to drink, dance and relax each night. 
 
Facilities
Guests can make use of the resort's facilities, which include various boutiques, a hairdressers, library, games room, laundry, medical centre, business centre with wi-fi, and conference room.
 
Children
Beau Rivage has two free children's clubs - the Mini Club, for ages 3-12, and a Teens Club for over 12's. There are organised activities, games and a special kid’s buffet, with babysitting services available on request. 
 
Day Trips
Excursions from Beau Rivage include Centre de Flacq, the largest town on the east coast, the fishing village of Trou d'eau Douce, the capital Port Louise, Casela Bird Park or the Waterpark Leisure Village.
