Baska Voda Weather

Baska Voda lies on the Adriatic Coast in Dalmatia, Croatia, on the Markarsha Riviera, 50km from Split. The resort lies at the foot of the Dinara mountain range, close to the Biokovo National Park, and enjoys a typically Mediterranean climate, with hot dry summers and mild winters. The region receives 2,700 hours of sunshine each year, and is one of the sunniest towns in the northern Mediterranean.    

Spring sees pleasant warm weather with temperatures of 18C - 22C during March and April in Baska Voda, and an abundance of sunshine - sometimes up to 9 hours each day. Conditions are excellent for exploring the countryside and sightseeing, and enjoying outdoor activities such as walking and cycling. Summers heat up in June, with the temperature rising to 25C, and July and August seeing average highs of 28C. The daily sunshine hours increase to 11 hours in the peak season months, whilst night time temperatures only drop to 20C - 23C. During the summer, the sea temperature in Basko Voda reaches 25C, making the warm Adriatic ideal for swimming, water sports and boat trips.

 

Baska Voda sees relatively mild winters, with the coldest month of January dipping down to an average of 8C. The rainiest months are generally November and December, when the sun shines for an average of 4 hours each day.
