Beaches
The resort is set around a number of small coves, with visitors able to choose from four beaches, featuring stretches of both sand and shingle, and boasting crystal-clear water for swimming. Bali also offers a number of convenient waterfront tavernas and cafes.  
 
Water Sports
Plenty of water sport activities including jet skiing, water bikes, windsurfing, scuba-diving, sailing, canoeing and parasailing, with fishing trips available.
 
Sports
Hotels offer swimming pools, tennis courts, gyms, table tennis and billiards, whilst mountain bikes are available to rent. Jeep safaris can be taken in the Idi Mountains. 
 
Boat Trips
Boats depart regularly from the working harbour, and take visitors to Rethymnon and out on cruises along the north coast, with trips to Spinalonga Island and over to Santorini offered.  
 
Walking & Hiking
The scenic countryside inland is well worth exploring, and there are trails and footpaths to follow throughout the hillsides. Popular sights to visit include the monastery at Agios Ionnis and the mountain village of Margarites.    
 
Day Trips
Located in between Heraklion and Rethymnon, Bali is well-placed to explore the central north coast and its beaches, coves and charming little towns and villages. Famous attractions such as the Samaria Gorge and the Minoan sites of Knossos and Phaestos are popular day trips.
