The weather in the Balearics is a major factor for those visiting the islands, with the region enjoying pleasantly hot summers and mild winters. Although temperatures range from 22C-28C and the region still sees between 8-10 hours of sunshine every day, the weather can be unpredictable and much more changeable, with the night-time temperature dropping quite dramatically.

The region, like most in the Mediterranean, sees some rainfall between October to February, with the islands receiving most of their annual total between September and November. This mild weather is a great attraction for those looking to escape the cold British winter, and the Balearics offer a great option for the entire season, or just a weekend getaway.
