Balaia Weather

The weather in Balaia will be perfect if you want to sunbathe on one of Algarve’s longest and loveliest beaches. In fact, with over 3000 hours of sunshine per year you are pretty much guaranteed uninterrupted warm weather all year round. Widely known as one of the sunniest destinations in Europe, temperatures in Balaia can regularly reach over the 30C during the hottest summer months. The winter weather in Balaia is still warm at around 17C making the perfect sunshine winter break destination.

  

If you like your summer holidays hot but not unbearably so then the climate on holiday in Balaia will be perfect. From May onwards the temperature begins to climb over the 22C mark and during the peak summer months from June until September it will not usually fall below 25C. The sun will be shining down for around 12 hours per day during June, July and August, and the warm sea temperatures are perfect for any number of water sports. Rainfall is non existent during the summer months and the evening temperatures are still warm and pleasant.

 

When the chill begins to hit Britain the weather in Balaia will still be warm and welcoming. You can easily pick up a golden tan during the winter months although there may be some short lived rainfall. November through to March will be cooler but comparable to a warm spring day in the UK. The sun will be out for around six hours per day and the 17C temperature in Balaia is perfect for exploring the neighbouring resorts such as Albufeira and Vilamoura or to indulge in a Balaia golfing holiday. Late March and early April are the perfect time for a sunshine Easter holiday break in Balaia.
