The humidity is lower and the heat is less intense than during the summer, however the resort does see higher levels of rainfall, with most of the rain coming in the form of intense but short-lived showers. The wettest month is December, when rainfall averages at 242mm, with the period from January to March seeing at least 100m of rain each month. The sea temperature remains very warm at this time, with the Atlantic Ocean hovering around 27C - ideal for swimming and water sports. Evening temperatures in Bahia Principe remain around 18C - 20C during the winter, meaning great conditions for al fresco dinners, evening walks and outdoor entertainment.

Weather in Bahia Principe - Summers see high temperatures and high humidity

Rainfall in the summer ranges from 40mm - 60mm each month, and the resort sees very high humidity levels at this time. There are cooling coastal breezes blowing from the Atlantic, which do tend to temper the heat a little and make it seem more bearable.
