Baa Atoll is located in the west of the Maldives and is blessed with a climate that is hot all year round with temperatures rarely dipping below the 30C mark. In such an idyllic paradise some rain will fall and the monsoon season occurs from May through November. The monsoon season does not mean constant rain, and in most cases rain will appear as short lived downpours that can last minutes. January to April is considered the best period to holiday in Baa Atoll with temperatures hovering around the 30C mark, little rain, and low humidity levels. For holiday makers who love hot weather the months of April and May will bring temperatures of 32C and over although there will be a chance of rain at this time of the year. The monsoon season will not dampen the temperature and the months of May through to November are the best time to pick up low season holiday bargains. April, May, and June will see slightly higher humidity levels in Baa Atoll but cool breezes will drift in from the ocean to take the edge from the heat.
