Avlaki Weather – Greek sunshine all year round
Clear blue skies and hot sunshine are the staples when it comes to the weather in Avlaki. The long summer season stretches from May until the end of October with the peak summer months bringing temperatures of 30C and above. The region is blessed with over 3000 hours of sunshine per year and boasts relatively low levels of rainfall and humidity for much of the year. Sea temperatures will head over the 20C mark from May and peak at around 26C during the month of August.

Avlaki is located on Corfu’s sun drenched northern coastline; an area blessed with beautiful beaches and a sunny climate in which to enjoy them. Sunshine levels are high during the summer months. Temperatures during June, July and August will usually rise above 30C but can reach higher than this during the afternoon. The beaches at Avlaki and nearby Kassiopi and Aghios Stefanos will be the place to spend those hot summer days. Evening temperatures will be a balmy 17C; perfect for strolls along the beach or al fresco dinners.

Rainfall will not usually disturb any summer holiday here and generally tends to stick to the winter months. Early spring and late autumn will also see some infrequent short-lived showers. Temperatures during the Easter and October holidays will be ideal for holiday makers who prefer warm rather than hot weather. Temperatures during April and October will hover between 19c to 23C with around seven hours of hot sunshine per day. Holiday makers can be basking in the hot sunshine within three and half hours of leaving the UK.
