Arzachena Weather

Sardinia is Located in the heart of the Mediterranean Sea and the weather in the northern resort of Arzachena is nothing short of spectacular. The sub tropical climate provides long dry summers and short mild winters. The summer season begins in May and the temperature does not usually dip below 20C until November. Winters can be slightly damp but the weather will still be warm with temperatures peaking at 15C during December. Rainfall during the summer season is rare and mostly tends to appear in short bursts during November and December.

 

Spring and summer temperatures in Arzachena, Sardinia, are high with the hottest weather appearing from June to September. Temperatures during July and August will be around the 30C mark. Winds can blow in from Africa pushing the temperatures up to 40C on some days. Sea temperatures are also high during the summer months and will be above the 20C mark from June until the end of October. Sunshine levels are high and the summer months will provide around 10 hours of sunshine per day. November marks the start of the very short autumn season in Arzachena with slightly cooler temperatures of around 18C; perfect for exploring the island in comfort.

 

Winter in Arzachena will last from December until February, and temperatures are mild at around 15C. Sunshine levels will be around four hours per day and there may be the chance of rain. Springtime starts around March when temperatures begin to rise towards the 20C mark and the countryside becomes very green and lush. Sea temperatures during the spring will rise to around 14C. Easter family holidays in Arzachena are popular and provide the chance to swap the British chill for some warm Mediterranean sunshine.
