Weather in Arenal - Mediterranean climate on the island of Majorca
Arenal lies on the south coast of Majorca, just 10 km from Palma, and enjoys a typical Mediterranean climate, with hot summers and pleasant spring and autumn days. Winters are mild, but can be wet and quiet changeable.
 
Arenal Weather - Hot dry summers, perfect for the beach
Spring sees pleasant average temperatures of 12C - 16C, with 7 - 9 hours of sunshine each day. The weather heats up in Arenal in May and June, rising to 20C - 23C temp, and the beaches tend to start filling up during this time, with the sea temperature a warm 17C - 21C. July and August sees the hottest weather, with an average high of 26C, accompanied by as much as 11 hours of sunshine each day. There's moderate humidity during the height of the summer, however, and July and August see virtually no rain. Evening and night time temperatures during the summer average between 15C - 19C, perfect for al fresco dinners and walks around the town.

Generally winters in Arenal are mild with more rainfall, and the days can be changeable. January sees the coldest weather in Arenal, with an average temperature of 8C and a maximum high of 13C, and the sun still shining for 5 hours a day. December is the wettest month, receiving 58mm of rain. Sea temperatures during this time remain around 14C, and the nights can see lows of 5C.
